"Compassionate Conservatism" was just homophobia, HIV/AIDS-phobia, racism (look at all the members of Congress who are still there who voted AGAINST making MLK a federal holiday), Reganomics, imperialism and Cold War and War on Terror proxies

Yeah, they were more "civilized" but thats all you could say about them
